Mexican Silver Milagros Hand Pendant Necklace

In Mexican culture, hands mean a variety of things. Mostly spiritual, as in the "Protective Hand of God", but also represent strength, power, protection, and healing. A third eye center opened palm in the mystical design of this Milagros charm pendant by Maria Belen Nilson. 

Milagros means "Miracles" in Spanish are religious folk charms found in Latin America, especially Mexico and Peru. They are used by people to petition for help and protection. Each Milagro is specially made for a unique purpose so there a variety of shapes, ranging from body parts to animals, and other objects.
